Recently I travelled through Uganda, mainly for Gorilla and Chimp viewing, we stopped along the way for a few bird watching sessions in some pretty amazing forests.
Uganda really has some fantastic birds and we were fortunate to have great local guides showing us around and finding the local special bird species.
One of my favourite birds of the trip was definitely seeing the Papyrus Gonolek.
Birding and photography is a great combination, but sometimes do you bird first or take pictures first, tough choices to make.
